Discover the Secret to Radiant Skin with My Night Routine!

Achieving radiant skin doesn’t have to be a mystery. You can wake up with glowing skin with the right night routine and a few carefully selected products. Here’s a step-by-step guide to my night routine, featuring some of the best skincare products that are both effective and affordable.
Step 1: Cleanse Thoroughly
Start your night routine by removing all the impurities and makeup from your skin. A good oil-based and water-based cleanser is essential to ensure your skin is clean and ready to absorb the next products. I would recommend this viral Zero balm, paired with a gentle cleanser, like LANEIGE cleanser or COSRX low pH cleanser. Both products transform into a foam, effectively removing dirt and makeup without stripping your skin of its natural moisture
Step 2: Exfoliate Gently
Exfoliation helps to remove dead skin cells, allowing your skin to regenerate and glow. However, it’s important to choose a gentle exfoliant to avoid irritation. One of my recommendations is the Paula's Choice exfoliant, only if we are not using retinol later. If yes, then maybe skip this step.
Step 3: Apply a Hydrating Toner
A toner helps to balance your skin’s pH and adds an extra layer of hydration. In my routine, I just use LANEIGE Cream Skin Refillable Toner and have not tried on other products. But this is a great choice, very moisturizing and soothing.
Step 4: Use a Targeted Serum
Serums are packed with active ingredients that target specific skin concerns. For radiant skin, look for serums that contain vitamin C or hyaluronic acid, like this La Roche-Posay C serum.
This is also the step you normally apply your retinol, which should not be paired with C serum. So you might want to skip out on retinol on these vitamin C days. If you keen on your retinol routine, I would have another blog on comparing different retinol products you can try out here.
Step 5: Moisturize
Lock in all the goodness with a rich moisturizer that will keep your skin hydrated throughout the night. This CeraVe Moisturizing Cream has been my go-to this winter for how moisturizing this product is and how it helps block in all the nutrients for the skin.
Step 6: Eye Cream
The delicate skin around your eyes needs special care. An eye cream can help reduce puffiness and dark circles. However, I would not recommend starting this step if you are younger than 25. In my opinion, it is not necessary yet and you are wasting your money now.
Step 7: Overnight Mask (Optional)
For an extra boost, use an overnight mask once or twice a week. These masks provide intense hydration and repair while you sleep. You can either purchase a bunch of sheet masks on sale, or a sleep mask in a jar for multiple use. One great option is the Laneige sleep mask trio, gotta try out.
By incorporating these steps and products into your night routine, you can unlock the secret to radiant skin. Remember, consistency is key, and with time, you’ll see the transformation in your skin’s health and appearance.
Sweet dreams and glowing mornings! 🌙✨
